During the eventful week of July 2nd, 2023, our Vancouver branch had the privilege of collaborating with Chiaradia Exhibitions to provide furniture rentals for the LNG Conference 2023 held in Vancouver. It was an entirely new and exhilarating experience to witness the remarkable transformation of an empty space into a captivating and welcoming brand representation stand. The energy, interest, and networking that radiated from it were truly inspiring.

As someone who had previously served as a keynote speaker, exhibitor, sponsor representative/speaker, and moderator in the oil and gas industry, I was thrilled to gain an inside look at the intricacies of conference preparation and organization.
In February 2021, I made a life-changing decision to shift gears after a fulfilling 30-year career in the oil and gas industry. It was time to wholeheartedly devote myself to leading Furniture Connection Ltd. My previous journey included two incredibly rewarding years at LNG Canada, nestled in the picturesque town of Kitimat, British Columbia. This choice didn't happen overnight; it was a thoughtful process that unfolded over the course of a year. The relentless pace of work, the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, the internal restructuring within Furniture Connection, and our remarkable growth trajectory left little room for contemplation about leaving the oil and gas engineering/management world.
